Ireland
And this is another fantastic postcard from Jim. It shows Jerpoint
Abbey. This Cistercian abbey wa sfounded in 1158 by the King of Ossory,
Donagh MacGillapatrick. In 1387 the abbot was fined for violating the
Statute of Kilkenny which forbade the admission of Irishmen as members
of the community. Jerpoinf abbey is one of the finest monastic ruins in
Ireland and it's wealth of history is well documented.

I received this postcard after I felt I miss some new postcards from Ireland. Well, this postcard is absolutely cool, just look! :) The Atlantic puffin can be found in colonies in many coastal locations around Ireland. One of the largest colonies can be found at the Cliffs of Mother. Thank you Jim for this cool postcard! :)

I found out that Irish postcards are beautiful in every case. This card arrived from Kathrin. The Mayo coastline provides a succession of remarkable view of golden beaches cliffs and furrowed headlands. The most distinctive feature of Mayo's striking landspace is Croagh Patrick, Irelnd's holy mountain, which is climbed each year by bare-footed pilgrims in acts of religious devotion.
