United Nations

Kylie sent me this antiviolence postcard of United Nations in New York. The sculpture is a gift of the Government of Luxembourg to the United Nations and stands on a platform near the public entrance of the United Nations complex. The sculpture is a large replica of a .45 calibre revolver with a twisted barrel, to symbolize peace and non-violence.

The very first postcard with United Nations stamp arrived from Claus. It shows the United Nations Headquarters in New York. With this postcard arrived also the information that the UN have their own stamps! :) Big thank belongs to Claus!
